Terveystalo Digital Services is seeking an experienced

Tech Lead/Lead Developer

to join our team and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge solutions and products.

You will be responsible for leading the development team and ensuring the platform and its architecture aligns with the team’s long-term vision and delivers real value for end users and customers. We’re looking for an experienced candidate with a full-stack profile who can move fast and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to a product/solution team of developers and align team’s daily work with product’s long-term vision and architecture
  • Develop high-quality software using front-end and back-end technologies that prioritize an exceptional user experience
  • Lead the development team in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing of features
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to the product architecture and user experience based on user feedback and industry best practices
  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owner, product designer and healthcare professionals, to ensure the seamless integration of discovery and delivery processes
  • Mentor and coach developers on the team, supporting them to develop a productized platform and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
  • Contribute to Terveystalo software engineering architectures, standards and practices

As an ideal candidate you have:

  • Bachelor's or masters’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent team leadership skills with prior experience of leading a development team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and an ability to participate in stakeholder and customer communications, requirement analysis and turning business requirements into solution designs and architectures
  • Prior experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience as a full stack developer or in a similar role, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development and architecture expertise
  • Strong knowledge of modern software development methodologies and experience from applying them to practice
  • Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, such as TypeScript, React, Node and experience with other relevant libraries and frameworks
  • Solid understanding of UX design principles and the ability to apply them to software development
  • Experience with cloud platforms as well as containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
