My certificates
Sickness absence certificates issued by a physician are now easily available in the Terveystalo application and on the Terveystalo website through strong identification. In the same place, you can also find medical certificates for applying for infectious disease allowance.
How to find sickness absence certificates on Terveystalo’s website
Sickness absence certificates issued by a physician can be found by selecting Use online services in the upper right corner and then My Events from the displayed menu. After logging in, you will see sickness absence certificates issued since the end of 2021.
If you have already logged in to Terveystalo's website, you can find the My Events link in the upper left corner menu.
The "Download PDF" function allows you to download the certificate to your own computer for forwarding, if necessary.
Unfortunately, we will no longer add sickness absence certificates issued by a physician to the Oma Terveys online service, so please retrieve the certificates from our website or the Terveystalo app.
How to find sickness absence certificates in the Terveystalo app
In the Terveystalo application, sickness absence certificates issued by a physician are displayed on the front-page timeline, at the date of reception. Press the desired sickness absence certificate to open it to full screen and download it to your phone or forward it through your phone's messaging channels.
You can also select Sickness absence certificates from the filtering feature in the app to display only the certificates issued to you in your entries.
Please note that certificates issued by a nurse are still sent as a message attachment to the Messages section of the Terveystalo app.
If you cannot see the certificate you are looking for, please check that your Terveystalo app has been updated to the latest version.
