Mielen chat and sparri will be health services from 1.1.2025

The Mielen chat and sparri service is systematically developed based on customer experiences and needs. From 1.1.2025, the services will change from a wellness service to a health service to provide an uninterrupted care pathway for people using the service in all situations. The change will mean that no VAT will be added to the price of services. As a health service, Mielen chat and sparri are not covered by Kela (KL0).

 

Until now, it has not been possible to create patient records and use them to transmit information along the care pathway. With the transformation of Mielen chat and sparri into a healthcare service, our experts can make patient records and information about the client's situation is transmitted uninterrupted along the care pathway. In addition to continuity, this allows for a better experience for the customer, as they do not have to start from scratch to describe their situation when they meet a new professional," says Aino Kohtala, Terveystalo's Senior Psychologist-Psychotherapist of one region. 

The change does not require any action from our customers or affect their experience

Mielen chat will continue to be available through its own separate button in Terveystalo's app and online service. Through the service, everyone will continue to receive support from Terveystalo's professionals specialising in mental wellbeing in order to relieve everyday worries that burden the mind and strengthen skills that support mental health. Terveystalo's nurses specialised in mental health issues will serve in the Mielen chat and Terveystalo's psychologists and psychotherapists will continue to serve in the Mielen sparri as before.
