It's time to get vaccinated - flu shots are now available
It is good to prepare for the coming fall influenza season in time, because the fast spreading influenza can cause long periods of sick leave among working age people. The most effective protection against influenza is the vaccine, which prevents the disease by up to 80% and shortens the duration of the disease. With the help of the vaccine, you create security for yourself, your loved ones and your work community.
It is recommended to take the vaccine well in advance of the first wave of infection, which often occurs at the turn of the year. Influenza viruses are constantly mutating, so the flu vaccine taken last year or the year before will no longer protect against the disease this year. The influenza wave of the coming season 2022–23 is predicted to be exceptionally strong and may even be stronger than the flu waves before the Covid-19.
Influenza vaccinations for our occupational health customers in the 2022-2023 season
Influenza vaccines are now available for our occupational health customers. If there are at least 50 persons to be vaccinated, we try to organize the vaccination times to the company's own premises.
The price of the influenza vaccine at the company's premises is €41,10/person, in addition to which the time spent on vaccination, travel time and travel costs are billed. Alternatively, the price of a vaccination taken at the Terveystalo health care center is €44.70.
