Hanna Ahtiainen is the Occupational Health Nurse of the Future 2024
The Board of the Finnish Association of Occupational Health Nurses has selected Terveystalo Nokia's occupational health nurse Hanna Ahtiainen as the Occupational Health Nurse of the Future 2024.The Future Occupational Health Nurse was selected for the 10th time and announced at the Occupational Health Nurses' Leadership Days on 15.11.2024 in Helsinki.
Hanna Ahtiainen graduated as a nurse in 2017 and also works as an induction tutor at Terveystalo Nokia. Inka Koskiaho, Chair of the Board of the Finnish Association of Occupational Health Nurses, said in her speech at the Occupational Health Nurses' Focus Days that Hanna has a genuine desire to develop and deepen cooperation with client companies, and that she has been very successful in her work. Hanna also takes good care of her personal clients. Her approach is proactive: she researches, investigates and takes up new issues and actively puts them into practice.
According to the Federation, Ahtiainen has a strong vision of business cooperation and its development, which can be seen as a cornerstone for the future of occupational health care. She understands the company's perspective, can flexibly seek solutions to company problems and support the company in achieving results through work capacity management.
Terveystalo has around 800 occupational health nurses. They play an important role in customer cooperation and the coordination of occupational health cooperation.
– Hanna's work is strongly influenced by her desire to work in the best interests of the individual and corporate customer. Hanna's work is characterised by active cooperation with companies and its development by listening to the needs of the client. Hanna acts as an orientation officer in our region and is also an important support to our work community in everyday work," says Hanna's supervisor, senior occupational health nurse Sari Vihtelin.

– You can't get much better feedback on your work than this honour from your colleagues! It feels really good that my efforts to do good, high-quality work are visible to others. Thanks to my employer and the Terveystalo Nokia work community, we have a workplace where it is possible to succeed together. Of course, thanks also go to the great customers with whom I have been able to work together to promote occupational health issues. And of course thanks to the Finnish Association of Occupational Health Nurses for this recognition!
