From 1.9.2024, the change in VAT rate will be reflected in the prices of our services
The general VAT rate will change from the current 24% to 25.5% from 1.9.2024. The change will apply to the majority of goods and services sold in Finland. The increase in the VAT rate due to the changes in the VAT Act will also affect Terveystalo's prices for VAT-paid services.
The change does not require any action from our customers, and the amendment will not affect the content of our healthcare services. The VAT change will be reflected on the occupational health invoice when there are VAT sales transactions on the customer invoice. Health and medical services that are not subject to VAT will not be affected by the change in the law. The change will be reflected on bills so that the tax rate for the same VAT-taxable health care service will be 24% before 1 September 2024 and 25.5% from the beginning of September.
